"If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive. -Eleonora Duse

This trail was super easy with a amazing view. Follow Colt's Pond Road a very narrow and almost class 4 road to the trailhead. A little gem hidden in northeast Vermont. This trail isn't even on AllTrails. I heard about this trail from a friend and after seeing the pictures I had to go check it out for myself. There was still a bit of fall foliage and I wanted to do this hike before all the leaves were completely gone. The kids were a little reluctant to go on a hike this day, but I was able to drag them out of the house anyway. It was a beautiful fall day, pretty warm and just an overall great day to get out into the woods. Upon arriving at the trailhead I was surprised at how many people knew about this trail. Less than a mile out we had reached the summit. I couldn't be more pleased with what I saw and the kids were happy they joined me.
