Averill Mountain is a very easy and short trail located in rural Vermont near the Canadian Border. We did this one once before this past November, but decided to do it again in the summer and also check it off my Go North 9er List. This was one of the first trails our puppy, Zion joined us on and he absolutely loved. At the time he was 4 months old and did not have any difficulty. From the summit you get a beautiful view that over looks Lake Averill. This short and sweet hike is one of my favorites.
