Arethusa Falls 2.0
Another hike up to the falls. It’s only been about 3 weeks since our last visit, but the ice is already melting at a rapid pace. The kids loved the hike and the falls. It was such a gorgeous hike up, couldn’t ask for a better day!
Really didn’t need spikes on today. Most of the trail is dry just a little bit of snow and ice closer to the top, but not too bad. Lack of snow and rain this year is going to make for a short mud season.
I was surprised at how much the ice had melted. The last time we were here just a short few weeks ago I was able to walk out to the waterfall and basically stand underneath the cliff. Not the case this time. A steady flow was raging underneath the ice and the waterfall was almost completely melted.
This amazing view just never gets old. It’s beautiful in all four seasons and a great place to bring kids and dogs.
